  1. Cynthia – what a gorgeous photo!!

Old Shadows – thanks for exposing us to the science of rainbows! The intensity of colors in the rainbow is most intense at 42 degrees. I wonder how many number 42 connections to the treasure Mr. Fenn included? Of course, I only care about 1 connection… that would be me πŸ™‚ lol!

  2. Thanks for all your comments…the rainbow appeared to touch the earth at both ends…unfortunately, Fenn’s treasure trove was at neither. Actually, we were there to camp and visit the ruins…Chaco Canyon is too far west and not on Fenn’s map. A horrible hail storm came through, and the weight of the hail crushed one end of our tent, and then melted into a beautiful pool of water inside the tent, soaking everything, including my NM atlas and my Thrill of the Chase book…do not feel bad for me, though, as this storm is what produced this beautiful rainbow. Since then the book has been replaced, and I had an awesome visit and chat with “god” (Forrest…for creating this wonderful adventure in my otherwise mundane life!) Everyone, do not give up this quest!

  3. New photos on Photo Album Four-

If you sent a photo for the Photo Album section in the past couple of weeks and don’t see it posted…please send me an email to remind me..
I am not ignoring anyone’s photos..but I certainly might have missed it while I was gone..

  4. Cynthia, there’s sure gold in them thar hills. Great photo!

Pooch, you sure the one on the right isn’t Forrest in fifteen years telling us searchers to rest in peace? I wouldn’t put it past him!
