Jeremy Johnson- Thank you for the fun! We're making memories in Yellowstone for 8 days. Very crowded, but as beautiful as can be.

Bekah- On one of our trips searching for the treasure we found this “blaze” on a tree next to a river where our clues led us in Colorado. No treasure found but was an interesting find. I especially found the spelling of “finnaly” curious in this A. Camus quote.

Joseph- Now seriously, who could resist hiding a treasure chest in a quartz/amethyst line hole?

  1. Thanks everyone! The 8 days is just Yellowstone vacation. We are looking in my spot (outside the park) after. Amy, not all of my tattoos have stories, but some of them do. Melanie, common sense is rare these days, but I’m lucky enough to have some. No selfies with wild animals should be everyone’s rule!

  2. Love the snow in July pic just posted. Mother nature certainly has a sense of humor.

Recently, I was up in Helena, MT for a conference mid July and had to be back in the office by July 20th. The organizers of the MT conference thought it would be fun to get us city folks down a steep hill of grass to try “Iceblocking.” Afterwards they bought us unfiltered local beer. Nice people if you ask me.

Imagine being that close to Yellowstone and not being able to go! It was absolute torture honestly. Not even wearing a pair of Hush Puppies could make it better. Guess I’ll have to plan a trip there next year to explore the place.

  3. Jdiggins – holy cow you definitely found the blaze! Way too close for comfort! Hope you are all safe and sound back home.

  4. WOW JDiggins, that’s too close for comfort! I hate that all that’s burning. And I definitely wish I was with Joseph when he found that hole of crystals! That’s awesome!

  5. where was the fire jdiggin? it looks bad. i live in Ala as a child and remember fires there in the forest and we were in a grass fire n. western TX.

    • Hc76, wildbird, amy, etc al,
Not the blaze I wanted to find!
The fire is about 10 to 15 miles south of me. We are noticing more wildlife as they scramble from this horrible beast. Many folks are out of their homes, but our firefighters are awesome and the weather is favorable.
My daughter was born the second day of the worst fire prior here, the Forks fire, nineteen years ago the 12th.
Thx all, I’ll keep u posted!

      • Man Jdiggins, you are extremely brave having to live next to the area on fire. Prayers for you and your family. Be safe and save as many of the wildlife as you can.

        • Hi into. I cannot claim authorship to thus photo, though I agree, it is amazing! The fire has slowed since yesterday’s unheard of rain. Keep the prayers coming, it’s working! 🙂

  6. @ Bekah
That’s a beauty plaque in the woods, it reminds me of a similar behind Purgatory, Co. Where did you find it at, if I may ask?
