  1. Carolyn, That’s a good picture of you two. What did you do, crack a joke or something? Rarely do I see forrest smiling like that… It’s nice!

    • Hi WiseOne! Thank you for the complement on the pic of me and Forrest. He was smiling cause he likes me. 🙂 We’re both Texans. 🙂 Dal, brought it to my attention that the contest has to be a pic that I took myself, not one of me so I had him remove it because my sis took it and I added one I took of my two new of many friends I met. I think my sis is going to enter it though.

  2. The essence of the TTOTC would be a picture of Forrest’s first arrowhead IMO.

Wonder what that Little Elm Creek gem looks like? We may never know…

  3. What if Forrest gave away his first arrowhead to one of the participants in the Chase? Does anyone have that arrowhead from pg 210/248?

We had a contest back in Nov 2014 with SASE envelopes? Remember?

I have two Texas arrowheads from Forrest. Neither one looks like that one in the book. The one I got from the Holiday Ornament contest is larger (5,500 yr old) and one he put in my Bronze Hummingbird red paper box labeled (but words scratched out) “Horse Hooves and Toes” was really small (1,200 yrs old) but could kill a large animal.

    • Hello 23kachinas. Besides his family being his most prized in his life, the arrowhead follows closely behind. No, he would not part with his little treasure he found when he was nine years old.
