    • I guess rescue could see you good if something happened. If in Colorado make sure you purchase a rescue Stamp. That way if they have to rescue you it’s paid for.

      • Falling rocks and don’t forget about iced-over bridges…and iced-over britches. I’ve discovered that talking sweetly to (and buying chocolates for) cold britches doesn’t warm them up one bit. πŸ™‚

        …but my wife, however. She’s NOT a witch…she’s my wife. πŸ™‚

  1. Homecoming, what I think you’re trying to say is that if you search at this time of year north of NM, you better be prepared…lol. πŸ™‚

  2. Ah, Hanging Lake…The Stairway to Heaven. I highly recommend it for everyone. Up, up, up you go. Michael may find that he can walk right across the lake today. We have had some really frigid weather. I do not see any ice fishing tools..what is he thinkning?

  3. Homecoming πŸ™‚ That is a good outfit to keep you safe during hunting season. You can’t be too careful.

    • Wow Wolf those are amazing… I really like the polar bear… I have a thing for polar bears… Maybe why I have big white dogs that look like polar bears…:)

      • I love polar bears too. You should plan a trip to Churchill, Manitoba some day (fall is best) to see them.

      • They are called Inuksuk.
Thay are Inuit landmarks or cairns usually above the arctic circle. They are used for navigation and to mark paths or routes, or simply put… a blaze.

  4. Nice shot of the “Avaition Arrow”. Just FYI. These markers were positioned about every 10-20 miles across the nation for use by the first Air Mail route. There were beacons on constructed towers to guide the pilots along their route. Exciting to find since this was what was used to navigate way before GPS. Nice find. Follow the arrows. No treasure but the journey.
