Scrapbook One Hundred Fifty…

MARCH 2016

This post is by Dal and not by Forrest

Forrest was interviewed by National Public Radio’s John Burnett a few weeks ago. That interview will air across the country on NPR stations this Sunday, March 13th on Weekend Edition Sunday. Typically, this show airs on Sunday mornings but stations can vary the broadcast to meet their own needs so the start time may be different on your local NPR station. Check your local station’s program schedule.

The show’s website is here:

They should post the story on that page on Sunday and we will put the story’s link here and on the blog’s Media Page once it’s posted.

  1. Pastrami on marbled rye please. I’ll eat it on the tail gate of my pick up while I listen to NPR. Wait…can rednecks listen to NPR and maintain redneck status?

    • Lordy I hope so, 42….just to hedge my bet though, I’ll have Spam and a cold biscuit w/ Tobasco!!! 🙂

Thanks Dal, can’t wait to the commentor’s comments!!

      • Loco, don’t forget the long necks – Lone Stars. After tipping a few cold ones to wash down the spam, anything fenn says will have us LOAO

  2. Crap…right after daylight savings time begins…as a wise person once said, getting up in the morning is cruel and unusual punishment; getting up so early better be worth it! 😉

      • Jake, most of the story was narrative providing background by NPR hosts. Cynthia and Sacha did a great job with their interviews as well. It was a nice introduction for those who haven’t heard of the chase before but I don’t think there’s much new information for veteran searchers such as yourself.

  3. Hello. This was a good interview for those who haven’t heard of the chase. I expect Dal and Goofy will see a new surge in the next few hours or the next few days. 🙂

  4. The NPR interviewer says he has blue eyes, actually they are green. I hope they get that one right on the Time magazine cover.
