Book of Blazes – Kris

Tuff Cliff. FF said that the hunt can not be solved in 1000 years (calendar Holocene).  A geologic Holocene is another type of Holocene – look it up.  The only one is tuff cliff.  In Yellowstone.  Bring your sandwich, there is a picnic area. Initial lead:  Yoda.

    • Here it is, I was summarizing, this is the exact quote.

Did the same 9 clues exist when you were a kid and to your estimation will they still exist in 100 years and 1000 years? !Thanks ~Ron

      Thanks Ron, thoughtful questions.
The clues did not exist when I was a kid but most of the places the clues refer to did. I think they might still exist in 100 years but the geography probably will change before we reach the next millennia. The Rocky mountains are still moving and associated physical changes will surely have an impact. If you are in the year 3,009 it will be more difficult for you to find the treasure.f

  1. Seems as though your blaze is also to large to look quickly down at the right spot and find the treasure.
    Bigger is not always better.

    • a very logical thought…also with respect to the V shape in the side of the mountain…what 80 year old could carry weight up there?

  2. Thanks Kris. You got me thinking again about how “in the wood” can be equated to “in the saddle” in cowboy terminology. Maybe the saddle of your horse? Did you post your solve to Dal’s? I read a Lake Creek Valley solve by a Chris posted last year…
